No Cooperation

Don't expect team members to adjust their activities to let you do your work. Most people are not bad, but there is enough arrogance and apathy in individuals that your work will simply not be important. Of course, some people are malicious. They may not consider themselves to be bad people, but they have a low bar for deciding that it is justified to treat subordinates and co-workers like trash.
